However, these extremely powerful energy sources, being the forces of nature, are still out of our control.

Therefore their efficient use is extremely important, because it increases the effectiveness and profitability of these resources and preserves the stability of distribution grids, thereby helping to maintain high quality of service. Precise production forecast is a vital part of these efforts.

In order to help our clients and partners in these efforts, we have developed several models that are used to forecast the production of electrical energy using wind turbines. These forecasting models are based on meteorological models as weather data sources, and use various principles in order to improve the precision of our forecast:

- physical model is a combination of equations depicting processes in atmosphere and precise models of wind turbines, which relies on a precise database of all turbines in Europe

- neural network model is used in situations when access to historical data is possible, as they enable adjustments to the specifics of a single location, and thus improve precision

Additional services we provide are also important in an effort to make renewable energy available and efficient. Meteorological data for energy potential assessment, for a period of more than 5 years, and for various locations around the world, are an important tool for the planning phase.

Thanks to wave models like WaveWatch III, we are able to assist during construction phases of off-shore wind parks, by providing wave and weather data, which enables our clients to plan and execute, despite the whimsical forces of nature.

During the exploitation of wind generators, we can provide information on shutdowns or icing conditions, which enables our customers to manage their parks more efficiently, thus making both their operation and wind energy more profitable and reliable.
